Pulping processes, fiber refining/processing, paper manufacturing, fiber/paper properties, recycling. Water requirements, effluent treatment. Chemical/mechanical pulping, pulp preparation, secondary fiber, de-inking, wet end additives. Lab problems/exercises, lectures. Online course.
