Course description
Diving equipment, physics, physiology, decompression, emergencies, recreational dive planning, oceans, currents and aquatic life, snorkeling/SCUBA equipment usage, buoyancy control, entries, emergencies.
Students must be able to swim 400 meters comfortably on the first day of class. Those that cannot complete this requirement will be required to withdraw from this course and are encouraged to return once they have mastered this ability.
