PUBH 8452 - Models for Dependent Data (4 Cr.)
Course description
Methods of inference for correlated outcome variables, with a special emphasis on repeated measurements in medical studies. Core topics include exploratory analysis of correlated data and GEE/random effects regression models for continuous, count, and categorical outcomes.
Theory of statistical inference (estimation and testing, asymptotics) at or above the level of PubH 8412 and linear models (linear algebra, least square, multivariate normal distribution) at or above the level of PubH8401 and familiarity with R, or permission from the instructor.
