Course description

This course is an introductory course to solid biomechanics. We will apply principles of deformable body mechanics to biological systems. This course will cover topics in solid biomechanics, including indicial notation, nonlinear elasticity, viscoelasticity, and active contraction mechanics.

Prerequisite: [BMEn 3011 (or equivalent) + CSE upper division] or CSE grad student
