Course description

This introductory course will present the basic principles of toxicology as well as an overview of the processes/mechanisms by which toxic agents can/do produce adverse health effects (i.e. toxicity) in various “target organs/systems” in the human body. Wherever possible, examples of “real-life” applications of these basic principles and processes/mechanisms will be presented and discussed.
