Course description
This course examines how the history, methods, and content of modern psychological theory, research, and application is related to current issues in the field. Schools of thought and central theories of psychology are reviewed in their historical and philosophical context. Particular attention is paid to what we can learn about psychology through a study of controversies in the past and present of the field.
