Course description

This interdisciplinary course will focus on the design of research proposals, products, and services that aim to hit the triple bottom line of economic viability, environmental sustainability, and social equity. The course will help students assess the long term value proposition of their individual research project or other professional interests. We will focus on three primary methods used by sustainability practitioners: semi-structured interviewing, systems thinking, and life cycle assessment.
