Course description
Application of intermediate microeconomics to the economics of pollution and the environment, including defining, measuring, and valuing the benefits and costs of environmental policy. Sustainable growth, economic rationale for decarbonization policies, valuing ecological services, ethical issues in using renewable/non-renewable resources, including as these relate to climate change mitigation. Understanding transitional challenges and optimal timing of environmental targets related to pollution control. Prereq–[3101 or 3012 or equiv], [Math1271 or Math 1142 or equiv]
