Course description

Description/analysis of chemical engineering systems. Units/dimensions, materials balances on systems with/without chemical reactions, elementary phase equilibria/diagrams, energy balances. Elementary treatment of multistage steady-state equilibrium operations.

prereq: Chem 1061 or equiv., concurrent registration is required (or allowed) in MATH 2374 or equiv., concurrent registration is required (or allowed) in PHYS 1302 or equiv., CSE student, C- or better in all pre-reqs
