JPN 3022 - Intermediate Japanese II (5 Cr.) Online may be available

Course description

This course is the latter half of a two-semester sequence of Intermediate Japanese. It is for students who have either passed the first half of the Intermediate Japanese course (JPN3021) or a placement test. If you wish to take the placement test, please contact the instructor. By the end of this course, students are expected to reach the Intermediate Mid or High level of the guidelines set by ACTFL. We will cover additional grammar topics such as honorific and humble forms, as well as causative and passive forms. By the end of this semester, students should be able to communicate using casual, formal and honorific speech. About 80 additional kanji (about 300 including all prerequisite classes’ kanji) will be taught.
