CMGT 4021 - Introduction to Construction Planning and Scheduling (2 Cr.) Online may be available
Course description
This course provides an introductory knowledge and skill set to create an overall plan for approaching a construction project from pre-construction through completion. This class will teach students the fundamentals of planning a construction project and how lean principles are woven through the core aspects of safety, quality, and production in construction. They will then practice planning an event themselves to implement these principles. The class is taught primarily from the view of the general contractor but also shows how all the different value streams of the owner, architect, and contractor come together in making a project happen.
