Course description
This course provides the foundation of professional nursing, including scope and standards, evidence-based nursing practice, and introduction to nursing theory. The concepts of communication, diversity, equity, inclusivity, and social determinants of health are explored. Beginning development of clinical reasoning skills is supported by the nursing process.
