CI 5924 - Pre-Student Teaching Field Experience (2-4 Cr.)
Course description
Teacher candidates will complete the PELSB required hours of pre-student teaching field experience for licensure.
CI department policy sets 1 credit = 4 hours/week in schools x 15 weeks/semester = 60 hours/semester in schools. PELSB requires a minimum of 100 pre-student teaching field experience hours. Most programs in CI exceed that minimum, to ensure exceptional preparation for teaching.
prereq: You must be enrolled in an initial licensure program (ILP MEd student) to take this course.
