Course description

This course provides students with an opportunity to develop skills needed to conduct focus group interviews. Students will learn and practice techniques that contribute to conducting successful focus groups. Students will conduct a focus group and submit a final report. Attention is placed on using focus groups in academic research, or as mixed-method applied research in areas such as health, medical, educational, governmental, and non-profit environments.
