Course description

Family-centered care theory applied to nursing care of childbearing, child-rearing families in acute care settings. Content includes antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum processes, conditions, and complications in each period. Additionally, conditions and issues unique to infants, children, and teens, and their response to illness/hospitalization, will be discussed and applied.
