Course description

This course examines the biological and psychological mechanisms of stress, the effects of stress on health and academic performance, and the evidence-based science of coping and resilience. Topics include the historical context of stress research, stress and health disparities, academic stress, and practical approaches for managing academic life. Through reflection, discussion, and hands-on activities, students will develop a deeper understanding of stress during college and beyond.
