Course description
Nonprofit board governance. Governance models, roles/responsibilities, ethics/dynamics. Current research/concepts along with students' current board experiences to illuminate challenges/explore solutions that build board leadership competencies. Students should have a familiarity with nonprofit boards through work or volunteer activities, but it is not necessary to be serving on a board.
