Course description

The purpose of this course is to cultivate an appreciation for the fundamental principles of genetics and genetic processes in plants at both the molecular and organismal level. The emphasis in the course will be on plant genetics for undergraduates who have had no prior genetics courses. The course will be useful for students of the life sciences, and tailored to those pursuing degrees or careers related to plant biology, plant systematics, horticulture, and breeding.
