CBS Gen Cell Bio & Dev Dept (10873)
TCBS - College of Biological Sciences
Course description
The aim of this course is to help you, a student of biology, become a skilled explorer of your genome using computational tools without writing computer code itself. This hands-on, workshop-style and team-based-learning-format course begins with you getting your genomic DNA genotyped at about 600,000 sites. The course provides you with weekly opportunities to develop your genome exploration skills and invites you to spend a semester characterizing your own genome sequence.
