Course description

The course introduces mathematical modeling methods such as convex or network optimization to formulate and solve civil engineering problems. Examples are motivated from emerging technologies such as sensing, shared mobility, etc. and computer tools are used to solve the problems.

Prereqs: Math 2263 or equivalent, Math 2373 or equivalent, CEGE 3101 or equivalent, CEGE 3102 or equivalent
