Course description
Human infectious diseases may be caused by bacteria, fungi, parasites, or viruses. This course will provide insight into the laboratories role in detection and diagnosis of commonly known human pathogens and the correlation of these pathogens to the laboratory results. Also to be discussed is the laboratories role and interaction with pharmacy to determine effective treatment for these infections.
