Course description

This course focuses on using mobile devices, including iPhones, iPads etc. to create engaging educational digital video content. Students will produce videos targeting diverse audiences including, but not limited to K-12 students, consumers, industry professionals, higher education populations and the general public. Course projects cover a range of topics from foundational to advanced agriscience concepts, with final outputs designed for public viewing through websites, educational video libraries, film festivals and/or media competitions.

Throughout the course, students will write scripts and produce curriculum-based videos, while also creating supplemental media assets to promote their work and enhance the educational value of the content. The course emphasizes both creative production and the strategic use of mobile technology to deliver impactful, informative video content.
