The Pharmaceutical Sciences minor is an interdisciplinary program designed to provide students with a strong foundation in the science and technology behind drug design and development, drug formulation and delivery, and clinical pharmacology. This minor is a good choice for students pursuing majors in fields like biology, chemistry, biomedical sciences and engineering, for students that are interested in careers in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, as well as those preparing to enter professional or graduate programs in the biomedical sciences. The coursework focuses on the fundamental knowledge, methods, and techniques applied - from invention to regulatory approval - to solve real world problems related to the discovery and clinical translation of drug molecules.
