EPSY 8266 - Statistical Analysis Using Structural Equation Methods (3 Cr.)
Course description
This course is for graduate students who want to learn how to use the latent variable modeling/SEM framework to analyze data in education, psychology, and other related fields. Students will learn statistical theories behind the SEM framework and how to use different latent variable modeling methods to answer different questions and address empirical issues with R programming. Students are expected to have a basic knowledge about correlation analysis, simple and multiple regression analysis, significance tests, and model comparisons. R programing language is preferred while other statistical programming languages are also allowed to complete all data analyses covered in this course.
