JPN 4041 - Advanced Japanese Conversation and Composition I (4 Cr.)

Course description

This course is designed to refine Japanese composition and conversation skills, empowering students to set their own language proficiency goals beyond classroom boundaries. While the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) is one possible objective, students have the flexibility to choose their own milestones based on self-reflection and consultation with the teacher. Emphasis will be on advancing grammar, vocabulary, and authentic communication abilities, preparing students for real-world language use outside of the classroom. The course aims to empower students in their language learning journey by tailoring support to their individual objectives and readiness levels.
