Course description

Instruction and advanced experience in surgery and its components. Students participate in patient care at level similar to first-year intern. Students work with a team in general/vascular surgery, surgical oncology/colorectal, or MIS/thoracic/foregut under faculty supervision and participate in the care of patients, in the operating room, and in clinics. Students take call on assigned service.
