Course description

Did you know that Latinos have been living in the midwestern United States since the 1890s? But Latinos are also recent migrants and refugees, seeking peace and opportunity for their children. Learn about the social, political, cultural, and economic struggles and victories; race and ethnic formation; and the arts and creative practices among a variety of Latinos in the United States.
