Course description
This course enables students to develop the methods of citation, conventions of style and organization, and critical reading and thinking skills necessary for writing college-level research papers in English. Students apply a process approach to produce an academic research paper on a topic of interest. Structure and vocabulary usage are addressed individually. In addition, students learn how to use library resources effectively and become familiar with writing resources on campus.
