Course description

Campus Singers is a non-auditioned ensemble and open to all members of the University community, including students, faculty, staff, and alumni. The Campus Singers sing diverse repertoire from various periods/cultures.

In connection with my participation in this School of Music ensemble, I grant the Regents of the University of Minnesota (the “University”) and its agents the following:

1. Permission to record photographs or other portraits or likenesses of me on videotape, audiotape, film, photograph or any other medium (the “Recordings”).
2. The unrestricted right to use—including without limitation, reproduce, modify, distribute, publicly exhibit, and incorporate into other works—the Recordings, for any purpose that the University deems appropriate.
3. Consent to use my name, voice, and biographical material in connection with such recordings.

Further:
1. I understand that the University is under no obligation to use the recordings.
2. I waive the right to inspect or approve the finished products incorporating the recordings.
3. I waive the right to any compensation associated with the University’s use of the recordings.

I release the University, its successors and assigns, employees, and agents from any liability arising out of or in connection with my participation or attendance at the Event or the University’s use of the recordings, including, but not limited to any claims for defamation, invasion of privacy, right of publicity, infliction of emotional distress, and physical injury.

If a student has safety concerns regarding the media release, consult with the course instructor.
