UX 3309 - Storytelling and Design (3 Cr.) Online may be available

DESGN User Experience Design (10837) TALA - College of Design

Course description

In a modern context, storytelling is often reduced to mere entertainment or even distraction. In reality, stories matter. They bring facts to life, build human connections, and help us envision different futures in order to inform our present-day decisions better. They are the framework that supports culture and are deeply embedded in all of our creative practices. UX 3309 aims to uncover elements of storytelling within the design process and explore various modes of shaping narrative.

We will experiment with how to tell compelling stories about use-cases, products, and services. You will learn to present ideas using powerful narrative structures, facilitate conversations effectively, and draw an audience closer to your ideas and designs. If you plan to work with clients or colleagues who need to understand your innovative point of view, this is one of the most essential skills to master.
