PDES 5704 - Computer-Aided Design Methods (3 Cr.)
Course description
This course provides a study of computer-aided design (CAD) methods as they apply to product design. Emphasis is placed on developing proficiency with Solidworks and Keyshot, with a focus on leveraging these tools for design iteration and photo-realistic rendering. Students will be expected to explore CAD as part of a broader design workflow, including integration with prototyping and communication of design intent. Additional 2D and interaction design software may also be incorporated.
