Course description
This course is designed for students of Arabic who have taken a minimum of two semesters of Modern Standard Arabic (ARAB 1101 and 1102), or the equivalent thereof as determined by a placement test. The course provides training in the fundamentals of Egyptian Colloquial Arabic, one of the most widely-spoken and widely-understood Arabic vernaculars. Students practice the expression and comprehension of communicative needs in a variety of daily-life, informal situations.
