ARCH 1621 - Introduction to Critical Inquiry in Practice (3 Cr.)

Course description

This is an introductory course where we, including professors, students, and professionals, will discuss various topics related to architecture. Sometimes, we'll look back at the history of architecture to understand how it has changed over time. We'll discuss popular ideas and practices and how they have been used or misused. We'll also talk about new and
emerging ideas in architecture that are being explored today all over the world. The word "critical" indicates that we'll be questioning and
examining old practices to see if they are still relevant to our modern, globalized world, or if they need to change, and where they might head in the future.
