PHSL 2041 - Physiology and Medicine (2 Cr.)
Course description
An understanding of Human Physiology is the basis of the practice of medicine. This course will provide an introduction and exploration of Physiology as it relates to the functions of the Human Body with special emphasis on the role of Physiology in Contemporary Medicine. The role of physiological research on advances in our understanding of health and disease will be emphasized.
Students interested preparing for health science based careers and/or considering the Human Physiology major are encouraged to enroll.
