IBUS 3092 - Understanding International Business (2 Cr.)
Course description
This course exposes students to the strategic, cultural, and political forces shaping today’s global business environment. Using real cases and hands-on activities (e.g. simulations), students learn how firms expand internationally, manage across cultures, respond to geopolitical tensions, and create value in diverse international environments. Students also deepen their awareness of their own worldview and their cultural intelligence. This highly interactive course builds the key critical thinking skills and global mindset needed for careers in multinational firms, consulting, and international organizations. This course is intended for students who are unable to travel abroad to fulfill the international experience requirements.
