Spanning a wide variety of species and research areas, the Animal Science provides students with opportunities to collaborate and learn across disciplines. By completing the program, students gain competency in the Animal Sciences discipline, research, and scholarly methods. Students are proficient in their area of emphasis - genetics, nutrition, physiology, and/or production systems.
