Take CHLS 4993W Senior Capstone (1 cr.) while also simultaneously being enrolled in a 3XXX or a 4XXX level course with a tenure-track faculty member in the Chicano and Latino Studies department. Alternatively, students may enroll in CHLS 4901W (3 cr.), if they have completed an upper division course in the major on the topic related to their capstone project. DUS approval required.
Students who double major in CLA and choose to complete the capstone requirement in their other CLA major may waive the Chicano and Latino Studies capstone, and they do not need to replace the 1 credit.
