Description of other application requirements
Applicants must submit a University of Minnesota application which includes a written statement of academic interests, goals, and objectives; three recommendations from persons familiar with their scholarship and research potential; a scholarly writing sample; and transcripts. Submission of all application materials by December 1 ensures priority consideration for admission and for teaching and research assistantships awarded for the next academic year. Students are admitted for the fall semester only.
