Program description

The minor in Latin introduces students to the language and culture of ancient Rome. It develops exceptional language abilities through a mastery of classical Greek literature, including prose authors like Caesar and Cicero as well as poets like Catullus and Vergil. This minor may complement a student's intended major in fields like philosophy, history, religious studies, political science, and English. It will also prove useful for students pursuing graduate study of medicine or law.
