The School of Mathematics at the University of Minnesota offers a Ph.D. in Mathematics. The Ph.D. in Mathematics spans the full spectrum of mathematics, supported by more than 60 faculty who pursue cutting-edge, internationally recognized research and serve as dedicated mentors.

Students design a flexible, customizable curriculum in consultation with their advisor, choosing core and supporting coursework that aligns with their research interests.
