Program learning outcomes
Students will understand what innovation is, how innovation happens, and how to apply design thinking (and other innovation processes) to real problems. Students will adapt when constraints, context, and/or feedback change.
Students will guide a product from idea to launch by connecting customer insights, market opportunity, problem definition, solution design, business model, go-to-market strategy, etc. into one coherent story.
Students will operate as a reliable, professional, and strategic team member who communicates clearly, contributes to leadership, and helps the team move forward, even when things are difficult.
Students will be able to evaluate whether an idea is worth pursuing by analyzing opportunity size, feasibility, risks, and tradeoffs (then clearly articulate a compelling “ask” to collaborators and partners).
Students will be able to articulate personal, team, and product values, design multiple future paths, and reflect on how the thinking evolves over time.
