1. Develop expertise in the disciplinary focus of the degree. 2. Participate in professional activities related to the disciplinary focus of the degree. 3. Exhibit professional dispositions as appropriate. 4. Complete requirements and milestones in a timely manner. 5. Maintain a GPA above 3.0.

Students achieve a doctoral-level education in collaborative piano and coaching, conducting, or performance. Students have the option to add a secondary area of concentration (Collaborative Piano and Coaching, Conducting or Performance) to their study.
