Pharmaceutics Ph.D.

The Pharmaceutics PhD program prepares students for research in the development and testing of drug products, including investigating interactions of drugs with complex biological systems and the physical and chemical formulation of drugs for delivery. The program offers emphases in physical pharmacy, biopharmaceutics, and pharmacokinetics. Minor fields of particular value include biochemistry, biomedical engineering, biometry, chemistry, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, molecular biology, pharmacology, and statistics.
