The Physics Undergraduate Program uses four University suggested Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs).
(1) Students can identify and define the appropriate fundamental physics principles to solve a range of problems in physics. (University SLO#1: Identify, define, and solve problems.)
(2) Students will demonstrate skill in collecting and analyzing data. (University SLO#2: Locate and critically evaluate information.)
(3) Students will demonstrate the ability to apply knowledge of physics at the advanced
undergraduate level. (University SLO# 3: Master a body of knowledge and a mode of inquiry.)
(4) Students will demonstrate ability to effectively communicate scientific information in both written and verbal form. (University SLO #5: Communicate effectively.)
