Studies of Science and Technology Minor

Students develop individual programs of study in consultation with the faculty and the director of graduate studies. Program learning outcomes include analytical and critical thinking about science and/or technology from more than one disciplinary perspective, with a special emphasis on innovation and creativity in scholarship, reflected in oral and written communication produced in the required graduate coursework with different faculty. Students planning teaching careers in science or engineering are a primary constituency.
