Program learning outcomes

Information Literacy: Students will recognize when information is needed and have the ability to locate, evaluate, and use effectively the needed information. (University SLO#2 Critical Thinking) Strategic Thinking: Students will demonstrate the ability to apply retail merchandising knowledge to a planned set of retailing activities and processes including innovation, strategic planning, and/or operational planning. (University SLO#3 Mastery of Knowledge) Communication: Students will demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate information in both written and verbal forms. (University SLO#5 Communication) Problem Solving: Students will demonstrate the ability to identify, define, and solve problems in retailing management contexts. (University SLO#1 Problem Solving)
