Design M.F.A.

Graduates of the Design program are expected to demonstrate the following skills and competencies:

• Demonstrate advanced knowledge and scholarly expertise in a recognized area of design study.

• Apply timely and relevant design research methods.

• Communicate effectively with intended audiences.

• Exhibit professionalism, citizenship, and service to the academic and professional community.

• Collaborate effectively and provide leadership on multidisciplinary teams.

• Apply and/or teach design disciplinary knowledge in practice.

• Understand and adhere to ethical standards in design practice.
