Human Factors and Ergonomics Ph.D.

To meet the Research Methods Core requirements take DES 8102 and DES 8103 as a sequence.

The Research Ethics Requirement can be satisfied by completing two Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) certificates -- these certificates are specifically:

1. Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR)

2. Social/Behavioral or Humanist Research Investigators and Key Personnel—Basic Course

Select a research methods course from the following in consultation with the advisor. If PSY 8960 is selected, take the Multivariate Statistics for Social Scientists section for 3 credits.

Select a course from each of the following three components, in consultation with the advisor, for a total of 9 credits.

Select from the following, in consultation with the advisor, to complete the 36 course credits required.
