The School of Kinesiology uses the University’s student learning outcomes to measure student learning in individual classes. For this program, students engage in coursework and other learning experiences (i.e., dissertation) that support their proficiency in:
Developing depth and breadth of knowledge in a specialized area of kinesiology
Designing, executing, and evaluating research which includes learning new and various methodologies and techniques
Demonstrating excellent scientific oral, written, and presentation communication skills
Collaborating with peers and mentors on academic, scholarly, and/or research projects
Maintaining high standards of academic and professional integrity and respect
