Description of other application requirements
Students with any academic background may apply and can be accepted. However, students need to complete the below prerequisites or their equivalents at other institutions before taking graduate level courses. If a student did not take all these courses as an undergraduate, they must take them at the start of their AuD program.
- Statistics - 1 full semester course required with hypothesis testing
- Anatomy and Physiology of Speech and Hearing - 1 full semester course required
- Hearing Science - 1 full semester course required
- Previous Coursework in social/behavioral sciences, biological sciences, and physical sciences (physics or chemistry) is recommended
All offers of AuD admissions are contingent upon the results of a criminal background check administered by the Minnesota Department of Human Services and completion of immunization requirements.
